What started with GPU mining rigs in a basement grew into algorithmic trading strategies, and eventually into the AI-driven platforms we operate today. Our founder, from the Irondale area, built ICMT from the ground up — no outside capital, no shortcuts.

2017 – 2019
Hardware Mining

GPU rigs in the basement, then a small ASIC farm. Learning proof-of-work economics from the ground up — hash rates, power draw, thermal management, pool selection.

2019 – 2024
Algorithmic Trading

Mining margins died. We pivoted to the markets — custom bots, exchange API integrations, backtesting frameworks, and years of systematic strategy development through multiple market cycles.

2025 – Present
Cloud-Based AI Platforms

Heavy shift to AI. Machine learning models powering trading decisions across intelligence, crypto, Polymarket, and equities. Fully automated, cloud-deployed, continuously learning.

2017
First Rigs Go Online

It started as a basement hobby — GPU mining rigs, a curiosity about blockchain, and the idea that you could mint digital money from your house.

2018
Scaling to ASICs

Graduated from GPUs to a small ASIC farm. Purpose-built hardware meant better efficiency and serious hash power.

2019
The Mining Pivot

GPU mining profitability cratered. ASIC margins followed. We shut down the rigs and turned our attention to the markets.

2020 – 2024
Building the Algorithms

Years deep in algorithmic trading — exchange APIs, backtesting infrastructure, signal development, and systematic strategy iteration across multiple market cycles.

2025 – Present
The AI Shift

Heavy pivot to AI. Machine learning models replaced hand-tuned parameters. Formalized as an LLC. Expanded into Polymarket prediction markets and intelligence platforms. Cloud-based AI trading systems now running 24/7 across four verticals.
